Your course includes

  • Six foundation lessons followed by ten core modules, with a structured sequence.
  • Videos, visual guides, fictional scenarios, worked examples and knowledge checks.
  • A final practical case portfolio and an arranged observed interview.
  • Assessment feedback from Synergy and a certificate after successful completion of the course and assessment requirements.
  • 12 months of access from enrolment, configured as 365 days.

Your enrolment

$990 AUD including GST for one learner. Use your own learner account. After successful purchase and enrolment, your welcome email explains how to sign in and begin with Foundation 1. Complete the required lessons, topics and knowledge checks in order.

No previous investigation experience is assumed. You will need to read, write and discuss workplace scenarios in English and use online learning and document tools. Study the materials at your own pace; your observed interview requires an agreed appointment.

Support and assessment

Glen Thomasen will initially assess practical work and arrange observed interviews. We aim to reply to support enquiries within 2 business days and provide assessment feedback within 5 business days of receiving the complete work required for assessment. Business days exclude weekends and Queensland public holidays. If you need an access extension, contact us before your access expires; extensions are considered individually.

This is professional training, not a nationally recognised qualification or an investigator licence. Successful completion requires meeting the assessment criteria; payment alone does not guarantee a certificate.
