Conducting Workplace Investigations — Professional Online Training
Your enrolment
The course is supplied by Synergywi Pty Ltd (ABN 12 679 146 804), trading as Synergy Workplace Investigations. The course description and price displayed when you purchase identify what is included. Prices are in Australian dollars; the total payable, including applicable GST and any discount, is shown before payment.
Access and getting started
Your standard access period is 12 months from enrolment, configured as 365 days. Use your own learner account and the email address used for enrolment. After enrolment, follow your Academy welcome email to sign in and begin with the foundation lessons. Complete the required lessons, topics and knowledge checks in order.
If you need more time, email glen@synergywi.com.au before your access expires to discuss an extension. Extensions are considered individually and are not automatic. If access is missing or you cannot sign in, contact us rather than purchasing again.
Assessment and your certificate
Payment and access do not guarantee successful completion. The certificate depends on meeting the course completion and assessment requirements, including the practical portfolio and observed interview. Follow the instructions and assessment criteria supplied in the course. Glen Thomasen will initially assess practical work and arrange observed interviews with learners.
Support
Email glen@synergywi.com.au with your name, lesson title and question. We aim to reply within 2 business days and provide assessment feedback within 5 business days of receiving the complete work required for assessment. Observed interviews are arranged separately. Business days exclude weekends and Queensland public holidays. If further information is needed or a delay arises, we will explain the next steps.
Change-of-mind requests and consumer rights
We do not offer change-of-mind refunds once course access has been provided. Please review the course description, learning format, assessment requirements and access period before purchasing.
This policy does not exclude or restrict any rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot be excluded. Accessing lessons or downloading materials does not remove those rights. If the course is not supplied as described or you experience a problem, contact us so we can assess the issue and provide the remedy required by law.
For an order or payment issue, email admin@synergywi.com.au with your order number and purchase email. Do not send full card details or passwords.
Your learning materials and information
Use your individual login for your own learning. Do not share account credentials or redistribute course videos or learning materials. Organisation purchases provide separate learner places; an organisation purchase does not permit shared student accounts.
Use fictional information for practice and assessments. Do not upload confidential employee records or real investigation files. Personal information is handled under our privacy policy.
Applying your learning
The course provides professional development and general investigation training. It does not provide advice on a particular matter or confer statutory investigation powers. Check applicable jurisdiction, sector and organisational requirements and seek specialist advice where needed.
