Digital product terms & refunds — Australia
Prepared 24 September 2026.
These terms apply to digital resources purchased from synergyworkplaceinvestigations.com.au. The seller is Synergywi Pty Ltd (ABN 12 679 146 804), postal address 11 Arborone Rd, Glenwood QLD 4570, Australia, trading as Synergy Workplace Investigations. These terms apply to purchases made after this policy is published.
What you are buying
Our products include the Investigate Like a Pro handbook, Workplace Investigation Toolkit and value bundle. The description shown when you order identifies the edition, contents, file formats and price. These are digital downloads; no physical copy is supplied unless the listing expressly says otherwise.
Check the product description and software requirements before ordering. PDF files require a compatible reader; editable documents require software compatible with the file formats supplied. Any download limit or expiry must be clearly disclosed before purchase.
Prices, payment and delivery
Prices are in Australian dollars. Prices displayed for Australian purchases include 10% GST. The total payable is shown before you submit the order.
Download access is enabled after payment confirmation. If access does not arrive, check your spam folder and contact us with your order number. Do not send full card details or confidential investigation files.
Licence
Your purchase grants a non-exclusive licence to use the resource within the single purchasing organisation, including internal adaptation of editable templates for its own workplace matters. You may give completed matter-specific documents to participants, advisers or authorities where appropriate for that matter.
You may not resell the resource, distribute blank templates or the handbook outside the licensed organisation, publish the source files online, or use them to create competing products. Consultants wishing to use the materials for multiple client organisations should contact us for an appropriate licence. Copyright remains with the relevant rights holder.
Purchases made before these terms take effect remain subject to the terms supplied at purchase.
Scope and updates
The resources provide general guidance and tools. They do not provide advice on a particular matter or replace a suitably qualified professional. Requirements differ between jurisdictions, sectors and circumstances. Check the edition and obtain advice where appropriate before making employment or legal decisions. Buying a resource does not engage Synergy to conduct or review an investigation.
Your entitlement to editions and updates is as stated in the product description and offer at the time of purchase. These terms do not reduce any update entitlement already included with your purchase.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Digital delivery or downloading a file does not remove those rights.
If a product is faulty, materially differs from its description, cannot be supplied or otherwise fails an applicable consumer guarantee, contact us. The remedy depends on the circumstances and applicable law and may include fixing the problem, replacement, a refund or other compensation. We will not require you to waive statutory rights to receive a remedy.
Change-of-mind refunds
We do not ordinarily offer refunds solely for a change of mind after digital download access has been supplied. This does not affect rights relating to a faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-compliant product. If you accidentally order twice or select the wrong resource, contact us so we can review the circumstances.
Getting help or requesting a remedy
Email admin@synergywi.com.au, use our contact page or call 1300 664 341. Include your order number, purchase email and a short description of the problem. A redacted screenshot can help with a technical issue. Avoid including sensitive workplace information.
We may request reasonable information to locate the order and assess the issue. Where a refund is due, we will arrange it through an appropriate payment method, normally the original method where practicable. We will explain the next steps and expected timing after assessing your request. Payment-provider processing times may vary.
Privacy and changes
Personal information is handled under our Australian privacy policy. Changes to these terms apply to future purchases and do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing order.
